Hey there! First off, if you’re reading this, THANK YOU!!! Thank you for taking time out of your day to step into this blog. My name is Annie Robertson and I am so excited to FINALLY launch something I have been envisioning for more than 2 years! That’s right, I’ve been wanting to create this blog for 2 YEARS! So when I say I’m excited that it’s finally come to fruition, I mean it! Sidebar, it’s also terrifying but hey, we all need to do scary things sometimes to live out our dreams!
So, as I said, I’m Annie, a physical therapist and performance coach at ACTIV. I created this blog, but I won’t be the only one contributing. At ACTIV we have 2 other physical therapists, Ed Ash (owner) and David Ryland. Additionally, we have two performance coaches, Eva Ryland and Mackenzie Hoctor. We will all be using this platform to share tips and insights! You can check out our bios here!
At ACTIV, We have a serious passion for helping people move beyond injury, unlock their true potential, and achieve their highest goals. At our facility in Richfield, Ohio, we rehab individuals every day and also provide performance training for those who aren’t injured. We work with any and all people experiencing orthopedic problems, with a special focus on athletes. (Oh, and p.s., we just moved into a BEAUTIFUL facility. Please stop by and check us out if you’re in the area!!
Here’s a picture of Ed, David, and I in our beautiful new rehab gym and Eva in our performance gym doing a Zoom Workout with clients!
We do A LOT of good stuff at our facility, and I thought it was time we started sharing what we know and how we get people better with the world!! Knowledge is power and our reach was only so far in the clinic and gym. We want to help EVERYONE, and what better way than to start an online platform?! We are here to serve you!
This blog will be primarily educational, encompassing all things movement, mobility, strength, performance, tips and tricks for treating dysfunction, addressing pain, and more! We hope you tune in and that we can be of some assistance for you on your journey through understanding your body and how to make the most of what you have been given!
